Evertone Expander v2 Upgrade from v1

Evertone Expander v2 is an upward expander that uses a physics-based engine built on F=ma to lift peak transients above the threshold, extending dynamic range and restoring snap and attack often lost in recording. The V2 upgrade completely refactors the internal DSP and adds HiDEF mode, which enables X8 oversampling and higher-precision gain-curve calculation for smoother transient tracking and reduced perceived distortion. HiDEF defaults on for new inserts and switches off automatically when opening V1 sessions for full backward compatibility. Oversampling at X4 or X8 suppresses digital grain when driving the expander hard, delivering smooth, transparent results. Ideal for mixing, mastering, recording, and live use, it shapes transients musically and naturally across any source material. This upgrade is for owners of Evertone Expander v1 only.
