Evertone Expander v2 is a physics-driven upward expander that restores the snap, attack and transient detail often lost in recordings. Built on the F=ma principle, it treats audio as mass and applies acceleration to lift peaks above the threshold, extending dynamic range in a musical, natural way. The second generation refactors the DSP and adds HiDEF mode, which unlocks X8 oversampling and higher-precision gain-curve calculation for smoother transient tracking, reduced distortion and transparent results. X4 oversampling is available anytime for a balanced CPU-to-quality ratio. HiDEF defaults on for new inserts and switches off automatically in V1 sessions for full backward compatibility. Ideal for mixing and mastering, but equally at home on the recording floor or stage, it suits hobby producers working with drums, vocals, guitars or full mixes who want punchier dynamics without digital grain. Works in FL Studio, Ableton and Logic on Windows.
