Sugar Bytes Factory is a polyphonic modular synthesizer built for animated textures, punchy basses and evolving chord sounds. Its two oscillators each offer 10 synthesis modes, spanning virtual analog sync, wavetable, waveguide, FM and fractal approaches. Sample-based sound shaping through the Transformer engine adds another route to unusual timbres. An extensive modulation matrix connects sources and destinations with bipolar amounts, while four sequencers can drive envelopes, LFOs and the arpeggiator for rhythmic movement and intricate patterns. Looping envelopes, one-shot LFOs and sample-and-hold modulation help turn static patches into shifting performances. The Arpiculation section brings together arpeggiation and pitch manipulation, including pitch envelopes and scale quantization. Morphing lets you crossfade between sound variations rather than settle on a single setting.
