Old Times by AudioThing is an impulse response expansion library for Fog Convolver, built from vintage public domain recordings. Its 40 responses span four collections: 78 RPM, NASA, Radio, and Wax Cylinders. Rather than focusing on conventional acoustic spaces, this library offers historical recording textures, from radio noise and spacecraft communication clicks to worn orchestral fragments and wax-cylinder voices.

Use these responses in convolution processing to give drums, synths, vocals, or atmospheric layers an aged, unusual character. It suits producers exploring lo-fi beats, experimental electronic music, retro sound design, or transitions that need a little archival grit. Most of the original material comes from Internet Archive.
