God Mode

God Mode by Denise Audio is a saturation and distortion plugin that lets you choose which frequencies get driven hardest. Inspired by the push-pull approach of classic Pultec EQs, its node-based graph boosts selected bands into the drive stage, then lets you pull them back to balance the tone without losing the added character. Use it for gentle warmth on a mix bus, extra bite on vocals, or aggressive textures on bass and synths. Three drive effects include an intensified version of the Tape Analog VM™ algorithm found in Bad Tape. Linear-phase filters support phase-aligned dry/wet blending, while Live mode switches to zero-latency regular filters for recording. Side-chain-driven rhythmic distortion and independent wet/dry panning add creative options. It suits producers who want more targeted control than a straightforward distortion knob, whether shaping individual tracks or adding subtle mastering colour.
