Rob Papen Quad is a 16-voice synthesizer that combines phase distortion and waveshaping with deep modulation for a broad range of electronic sounds. Shape each oscillator using two XY pads, then use the extensive modulation matrix to bring movement and variation to your patches. Two analogue-modelled filters with selectable routing provide further tonal control, while an arpeggiator and two effects processors help turn raw synth tones into rhythmic, textured parts. Quad suits hobby producers who want ready-to-play inspiration alongside room to explore sound design, from animated sequences to evolving synth layers. More than 750 presets offer plenty of starting points without requiring you to build every sound from scratch. Originally developed for Reason, Quad is also available in VST, AU and AAX formats. A resizable interface with three size options and support for .tun tuning files add flexibility to your setup.
