GR-X

GR-X is a drum machine plugin that recreates the punchy, gritty sound of 90s dance music. It comes with 45 drum kits and 30 patterns inspired by iconic acts like Technotronic, Snap!, and C+C Music Factory, all processed through classic hardware samplers, preamps, compressors, and EQs for authentic club-ready punch. The built-in 32-step sequencer lets you program velocity, pan, note length, pitch, and reverb sends per pad, while global FX and reverb add polish. You can drag and drop your own samples, export MIDI patterns to your DAW, and use multi-out for individual processing. MIDI assign makes it easy to map controls to your hardware. Perfect for hobby producers making old-school house, techno, and pop dance tracks who want instant nostalgic vibes without digging through sample packs.
