HY-Plugins HY-RPE2 is an eight-track MIDI sequencer plugin for producers who want to build rhythmic patterns and control MIDI-driven instruments. Rather than generating audio itself, it handles the note sequencing side of a setup, making it useful for hobby producers exploring drum arrangements, repeating phrases, and evolving rhythms on Windows.

Two sequencing engines offer different ways to create patterns: Grid and Euclidean. The Grid engine provides a grid-based approach to programming, while the Euclidean engine offers an alternative for exploring rhythmic distributions. For the Euclidean sequencer, drag-and-drop modulation assignment lets you connect modulation sources to controls. Four LFO/Sample & Hold units and four macro knobs/buttons provide additional ways to shape and vary its behavior.

HY-RPE2 also includes a MIDI recorder, MIDI Learn, and a MIDI Note Map, giving you tools for capturing MIDI, assigning controls, and managing note mappings. A resizable interface helps it fit your screen and workspace.
