HY-SEQ32 by HY Plugins is a 32-step MIDI sequencer for building evolving musical patterns with an analogue-inspired workflow. Rather than generating sound itself, it shapes note sequences and control data for your instruments, making it useful for repeating basslines, shifting melodies and animated synth parts. Five modules—Pitch SEQ, Param SEQ, CC SEQ, CC Rack and Oct/Tp SEQ—offer different ways to construct and vary a pattern. Each unit includes eight dedicated modulation controls, with drag-and-drop assignment for quick experimentation. Eight macro knobs provide hands-on control, while eight snapshots per unit and a pattern sequencer let you chain variations into longer arrangements. Chord and Scale FX, a five-track MIDI recorder and a resizable interface round out a flexible toolkit for producers who enjoy turning simple ideas into developing sequences.
