HY-Slicer 2 by HY Plugins turns audio samples into sliced, sequenced patterns for beatmaking and creative loop rearrangement. Load up to eight different samples, chop them into slices, and assign those slices to individual grid lanes. Each sampler track offers 16 lanes, letting you sequence up to 16 different slices per track with the internal grid sequencer. Use it to reshape drum breaks, build chopped melodic phrases, or explore rhythmic variations from your own recordings. A groove editor helps shape the feel, while the re-orderable FX chain lets you experiment with processing order. Pattern chaining, randomization, a file browser, and preset management support an exploratory workflow.
