SSL EV2 Channel

The SSL EV2 Channel from Waves is a meticulous component-level recreation of the legendary SSL 4000E console channel strip, officially authorized by Solid State Logic. It delivers the iconic SSL sound with a twist: choose between the gritty ‘O2’ Brown Knob EQ and the cleaner ‘242’ Black Knob EQ for tonal flexibility. The redesigned mic/line preamp adds rich analog saturation, while program-dependent dynamics respond naturally to attacks. Split high and low filters let you place EQ or filtering before or after dynamics, and the analog switch introduces THD for extra color—or turn it off for digital clarity. With internal/external sidechaining, flexible routing, and output width control (mono/stereo/reverse stereo), it’s a versatile tool for mixing and mastering. Over 600 presets from top producers and engineers make it easy to get started. Ideal for hobby producers seeking authentic console character in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
