Immersive Wrapper

Immersive Wrapper by Waves lets you use any mono-to-mono Waves plugin as a multichannel processor for immersive formats like Dolby Atmos. It solves the missing bus problem in object-based mixing by hosting your favorite mono plugin across all channels of a multichannel track in a multi-mono configuration, from mono up to 7.1.2 and 9.1.6. All instances can be control-linked as one, with flexible grouping for surrounds or tops and preserved relative positions. For dynamics plugins, shared internal sidechains let you glue an immersive mix with bus compression. Developed with Hans-Martin Buff and Yaron Fuchs, it brings Waves’ catalog to immersive mixing for engineers and producers working in Atmos, 5.1, and beyond. Use it for bus processing, dynamics, and cohesive multichannel mixes.
