Interval by Cinematique Instruments is a sample-based instrument for organic pads, evolving atmospheres and creative arpeggios. Its palette brings together delicate violin, cello, flute and trombone articulations with sources such as harmonic violin, ebow guitar and a sine tone. Play these textures directly for gentle, shimmering layers, or use the interval engine to stack equal musical intervals into unusual harmonies, from luminous clusters to dense dissonance. Four simultaneous sound slots let you combine different sources from a collection of 17 instruments, with each source used once per patch. Shape the result with attack and release controls, high and low adjustments, three delays, reverb and independent LFO processing for each slot. Individual slots can also be assigned to interval steps. Interval suits ambient producers, film composers and anyone looking for expressive textures and harmonic ideas beyond familiar chord voicings.
