iZotope Vinyl is a free lo-fi effect plugin that gives digital recordings the worn texture of playback on an old turntable. It recreates dust, scratches, record warp and mechanical noise, helping you add age and movement to otherwise clean audio. Use it on a drum loop, a sampled melody or a full mix when you want a deliberately weathered sound.

The Lo-fi feature adds coloration inspired by 1980s hip-hop resampling, making Vinyl useful for beatmakers and hobby producers working on hip-hop, lo-fi and other texture-focused tracks. Its refreshed, uncluttered interface keeps the effect approachable, while low CPU usage makes it practical in sessions with plenty of other plugins running.
