Legacy Drums

Wavesfactory Legacy Drums brings three distinct acoustic drum sounds into Kontakt, covering muted vintage grooves, powerful classic rock and expressive brush playing. Tea Towel Drums uses a damped Ludwig kit for the tight, restrained character associated with late-era Beatles recordings. Classic Rock Drums delivers the open, deep sound of a Ludwig Vistalite, while Brush Drums captures a Yamaha kit played with brushes for jazz, blues and softer pop arrangements. For producers seeking characterful acoustic drums, the collection offers 77 presets alongside separate microphone controls with natural mic bleed. Shape each channel with 23 DSP effects, including compression, EQ, transient shaping and convolution, then adjust velocity response, round robins and MIDI mapping to suit your workflow. Legacy Drums requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
