Little Epic Percussion

Soundiron Little Epic Percussion is a Kontakt instrument library that brings smaller orchestral and ethnic percussion into cinematic arrangements. Tambourines, finger cymbals, concert triangle, ship’s bell, wooden frogs and rabbit drum sit alongside mixed ensembles featuring claves, kalimba, rattles and shakers. Most instruments were recorded in the same spacious hall as Soundiron’s larger percussion libraries, making them useful companions to big drum parts or distinctive accents on their own. Detailed sampling, unconventional articulations and unusual instrument combinations offer room for both traditional scoring and experimental beats. The interface provides controls for envelopes, pitch, filtering, articulation switching and layering, plus an adaptable LFO and customizable arpeggiator. A modular effects rack and 22 sound-designed FX presets extend the palette beyond acoustic percussion. It suits hobby producers and composers looking to add movement, texture and small-percussion detail to soundtracks or electronic tracks.
