Mandolin v1.5

Mandolin v1.5 by Cinematique Instruments brings the bright, expressive character of an Irish flat-back soprano mandolin to your productions. Tuned G-D-A-E like a violin, this sampled instrument offers two distinct plucked tones: one clean and detailed, the other warmer and more intimate, emphasizing the paired strings. An organic tremolo feature adds dramatic movement to the first plucked articulation, making it useful for emotional melodies and cinematic passages. For accompaniment, the strumming engine turns held notes into sequenced patterns with open strokes and dead notes, while keyswitches let you control strums manually. Sound-shaping controls and several reverb types help place the instrument in your mix. Version 1.5 adds presets, an arpeggiator, additional effects and a refreshed interface. With four articulations in one patch, it suits producers and composers looking for natural string textures, melodic hooks or rhythmic backing.
