Zilhouette Strings

Zilhouette Strings by Cinematique Instruments brings close-recorded acoustic strings into a flexible, playable library. Its recordings capture seven violins, two violas, seven cellos and two basses in solo and trio sessions, giving the sound an intimate, natural character. Choose Shorts, Longs or Pizzicato, each presented in its own straightforward patch. The mod wheel moves through dynamic layers for sustained notes and adjusts short-note lengths toward spiccato. Ensemble options range from a quartet to the full lineup, with chamber, low-string and high-string configurations available too. Separate volume controls for violin, viola, cello and bass let you shape the balance around your arrangement. Seating and ambience options help place the ensemble in context. It suits producers and composers seeking expressive string textures for understated scores, acoustic arrangements or string-backed electronic tracks without a complicated workflow.
