MilkShake

AudioThing MilkShake is a Kontakt instrument that blends kitchen recordings with sampled synth tones for an unusual sound-design palette. Its three ingredients—Milk, Juice and Sugar—combine everyday kitchen sounds with material sampled from a Waldorf microQ patch. Mix and shape them into atmospheric pads, tuned synth percussion, textured layers, evolving effects or experimental noise. A custom performance interface puts an ADR envelope, a four-pole low-pass filter and six effects within reach: bitcrusher, rotary, phaser, reverb, delay and EQ. The library includes 93 samples recorded at 44.1 kHz/24-bit, plus 24 factory presets and space for 24 user presets saved through Kontakt’s interface. Supplied in Kontakt and WAV formats, MilkShake suits producers looking for quirky, tactile sounds beyond conventional synth patches.
