AudioThing TX-101 is a Kontakt instrument for building evolving glitch rhythms from organic textures and metallic hits. Its four sample tracks each offer four sounds, with a 16-step sequencer providing the framework for intricate, shifting patterns. Store eight patterns and chain them into sequences of up to 128 steps, then add movement with dedicated sequencing tracks for Delay and Flanger. Separate randomization for steps and sound parameters makes it easy to explore new rhythmic ideas without changing everything at once. Six included Kontakt instruments—Master, Ambient, Hard, Leslie, Modulations and Talking—offer different starting points, each with its own modulation-wheel assignments. TX-101 suits electronic producers and beatmakers looking for unusual percussion, ambient pulses or experimental rhythmic layers. Supplied in Kontakt and WAV formats, it requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt.
