MODO BASS Metal Bass

MODO BASS Metal Bass is a virtual instrument built for modern progressive metal. It delivers a bass tone that cuts through dense, high-gain mixes, whether you play fingerstyle or with a pick. The physically modeled engine captures every nuance of string response, fretboard interaction, and pickup behavior, then adds analog-modeled amp and effects for a hyper-realistic, ever-changing sound. With its alder body, maple neck and fretboard, 34″ to 37″ scale, and active Metal BSC and NSC pickups, this bass maintains a firm low end while standing out in aggressive arrangements. It also holds up well for slap techniques. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who need a reliable metal bass that sits perfectly in the mix without relying on samples. Because it’s fully modeled, it saves hard-drive space while delivering dynamic, responsive performances.
