MODO BASS Thunder Bass

MODO BASS Thunder Bass recreates a legendary 1963 rock bass with a deep, powerful low end and long sustain, perfect for filling the space between overdriven guitars and hard-hitting drums. Unlike sample-based libraries, it uses physical modeling to simulate every step of the playing process—string response, fretboard interaction, and pickup behavior—delivering a hyper-realistic, ever-changing tone in real time. The passive electronics and dual Thunder pickups (bridge BHB and neck NHB) capture the original’s character, while IK’s analog modeling adds authentic amp and effects to the signal chain. Ideal for rock, hard rock, and metal producers who need a solid, mix-ready bass that sits naturally in dense arrangements. It suits hobbyists and pros alike seeking expressive, dynamic bass without large sample libraries. Works with FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, and other major DAWs on Windows and Mac.
