Modular Add-On: Intellijel Rubicon

Softube Modular Add-On: Intellijel Rubicon brings Dave Dixon’s Eurorack oscillator design into your virtual modular rack. Built around an emulated triangle core, this synth module offers linear and exponential through-zero FM for exploring complex tones, animated textures and experimental patches. A linear index VCA lets you shape FM depth dynamically, while CV-controlled symmetry opens up further waveform variation. Choose from sine, triangle, saw, pulse and more unusual shapes, then add weight with suboctave signals one or two octaves below. Soft sync, direction-selectable hard sync and pulse-width modulation provide extra ways to sculpt the oscillator’s character. Rubicon suits producers and sound designers who enjoy hands-on patching and want to move beyond familiar subtractive sounds into deeper FM exploration. This is an expansion module, not a standalone instrument: Softube Modular is required.
