MPC Expansion: Patched Grand

Beat’s Patched Grand is a prepared piano expansion for Akai MPC, built from a Yamaha C3 grand that has been creatively altered to produce 30 unique patches. The sound designer coaxed unusual timbres from the instrument, resulting in a collection that ranges from subtly detuned pianos to more experimental textures. With 203 MB of content, 150 samples, and 30 keygroup programs, it offers plenty of material for songwriting, scoring, and sound design. The patches suit producers looking for characterful piano sounds that stand out from standard presets, whether used subtly in a mix or as the centerpiece of a track. It works with Akai standalone models (MPC One, X, Live, Live mkII, Force) as well as Touch, Renaissance, MPC Beats, and MPC Software. Please note that MPC software or hardware is required to use this expansion.
