Nagual

Nagual by MNTRA Instruments transforms pre-Hispanic ceremonial instruments from Mexico into playable polyphonic sound sculptures. Created with renowned musician Ramiro Ramírez, this instrument captures clay water flutes, conch shell trumpets, sacred Huehuetl and Teponaztli drums, and haunting ocarinas—recorded at 384 kHz/32-bit for extreme detail. The MNDALA 2 engine brings these ancient sounds to life with Sample Start Modulation for organic variation and responsive playability. Ideal for film scoring, ambient, world, and experimental music, Nagual suits composers and producers seeking evocative, spiritual textures. Its intuitive interface invites expressive performance, letting you shape trance-like flutes, resonant drums, and spatial ambiences into entirely new sonic territories. Whether you’re scoring a scene or exploring meditative soundscapes, Nagual offers a unique bridge between ancient tradition and modern creativity.
