Its new Align tab intelligently phase-aligns multitrack drum recordings—like top/bottom snare or close mics with overheads—without introducing flamming artifacts, while stereo linking and automatic track grouping simplify complex sessions. The Adaptive Resonant Decay algorithm separates each drum’s resonant tail from spill, preserving transients, and offers independent control over gain reduction, decay, high-frequency damping, and resonant region filtering. A Standard mode retains the original Drum Gate 1 behavior. External sidechain input supports audio and MIDI triggering for gating across multiple mics or beat-detected recordings.
