NOVO Modern Strings

Heavyocity NOVO Modern Strings combines orchestral depth with bold cinematic sound design. Recorded at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios, it brings together violin, viola, cello, and bass ensembles for everything from lush arrangements to tense, aggressive cues. Close, room, and hall microphone positions let you shape the ensemble’s perspective, while automatic alternating bow strokes support natural-sounding staccato and spiccato passages. Beyond traditional strings, NOVO offers nearly 40GB of customizable, sound-designed string samples, with tools for processing, layering, and sequencing them into hybrid textures. It suits producers and composers who want orchestral foundations alongside more experimental material for film, games, and television. Whether you’re adding dramatic weight to a track or building a score around evolving string layers, NOVO bridges acoustic ensemble performances and heavily transformed sounds.
