Ambience is a free VST3 reverb plugin for Windows that uses a 16-channel Feedback Delay Network to create dense, natural-sounding spaces. It includes seven distinct algorithms—Room, Hall, Plate, Spring, Goldfoil, Room1/2, and Hall1/2—each with its own topology and early-reflection pattern. The delay lines are tuned to coprime primes to avoid comb-filter artifacts, and a Fast Walsh-Hadamard Transform feedback matrix ensures smooth diffusion. A 10-band graphic EQ per channel lets you shape frequency-dependent decay, while ISM-based early reflections provide accurate stereo imaging. Sixteen bandlimited LFOs add subtle modulation without periodicity. The PRO button unlocks per-band RT60 multipliers, tilt EQ, and four anti-aliased saturation types (Warm, Tape, Tube, Hard). A live RT60 graph shows the effective decay curve. With 21 included presets covering famous halls, studios, plates, and springs, Ambience suits hobby producers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want a high-quality algorithmic reverb without spending money. It runs on Windows as a VST3 plugin and is open-source.
