PSP FETpressor

PSP FETpressor by PSP Audioware brings fast, characterful dynamics control to vocals, guitars, bass and drums. Built around a feedback-style FET compressor design, it delivers near-instant compression with the attitude associated with classic 1970s hardware. Use it to keep a vocal steady, tighten a bass performance or give drums a more assertive feel. A smoothly variable ratio lets you dial in the compression strength, while the internal sidechain high-pass filter helps reduce pumping caused by low frequencies. Channel selection and a link switch offer additional control over processing. For parallel compression, blend the dry signal back in directly. Makeup amplifier and output transformer emulations add subtle coloration, even at a 1:1 ratio. It’s a strong fit for producers who want both practical level control and vintage-flavoured character in one compressor.
