Eventide Octavox is an eight-voice diatonic harmonizer that turns incoming audio into layered harmonies, spacious textures and tempo-synced rhythmic patterns. Built on pitch-shifting technology from Eventide’s H8000 processor, it lets you shape each voice with independent level, panning, pitch and delay controls, plus feedback for repeating sequences. Choose a key and scale to build musical harmonies around vocals, guitar or monophonic synth lines, or switch pitch tracking off to explore drums and polyphonic material. Subtle randomized pitch variations can add a more natural character to the voices. MIDI control lets you change harmony intervals during a performance, while MixLock and Key Lock preserve your mix balance and harmonic settings when browsing presets. With more than 70 presets, Octavox suits electronic producers, songwriters and guitarists looking for anything from gentle widening to intricate melodic delays.
