Pultec Passive EQ Collection

The Pultec Passive EQ Collection from Universal Audio brings the unmistakable warmth of legendary vintage tube equalizers to your DAW. This suite of three meticulously modeled EQs—the EQP-1A, MEQ-5, and HLF-3C—lets you sculpt vocals, drums, guitars, and synths with the same silky-smooth character heard on countless classic records. Use the EQP-1A for fat, punchy low end on kick drums and bass, the MEQ-5 to add presence and depth to midrange instruments, and the HLF-3C for surgical filtering or retro lo-fi effects. Whether you’re running a full mix or a single track, these EQs deliver analog magic that sits beautifully in any production. Ideal for hobby producers seeking authentic vintage tone without the hardware, the collection runs natively on Mac and PC with any audio interface, and is also compatible with Apollo interfaces for realtime processing.
