Red Rock Sound AQ560 is a 10-band graphic equalizer for Windows, inspired by an American hardware EQ from the late 1960s. It suits home producers and mixing engineers who want to reshape broad frequency ranges, whether adding weight to a snare, brightening a vocal or adjusting a stereo mix’s tonal balance.
Its Proportional Q design changes the filter width with the amount of boost or cut: gentle adjustments cover a wider range, while stronger moves produce narrower curves. This makes it useful for both subtle tonal corrections and more pronounced sound shaping.
Four EQ units run in series, with independent settings and channel assignments. You can apply separate curves to mid and side information, stereo channels or selected channels in an immersive mix. Unit renaming, solo, bypass and settings-copy controls help keep complex setups manageable.
AQ560 includes 44 routing layouts, reaching up to 9.1.6, plus custom profiles with as many as 16 independent channels. Windows VST2, VST3 and AAX versions provide options for compatible hosts, including FL Studio and Ableton Live.
