Red Rock Sound SA60 Spectrum Analyser is a real-time audio analysis plugin that shows frequency levels in one-third-octave bands. Designed for producers who want a clearer view of their audio, it provides a visual reference for checking frequency balance while working on tracks and mixes. Its interface takes inspiration from the classic DN60 spectrum analyser, first developed in 1980.
SA60 offers averaging and peak-reading options, allowing you to view either averaged levels or peaks. Three response speeds—fast, medium and slow—let you choose how quickly the display reacts. Left, Mid and Right modes select which part of the signal you inspect.
A reference-level control establishes the dB baseline for the display. Frequency-band readings use the scale on the left, while the overall level has a separate scale on the right. For practical adjustments, double-clicking resets a control to its default value, and holding Shift reduces knob or fader sensitivity. SA60 suits hobby producers looking for a straightforward spectrum-monitoring utility rather than an audio-processing effect.
