WetReverb is a free VST3 plugin that recreates the sound of an 80s rack-style digital reverb. It outputs only the wet reverb signal, with no dry mixed in, so you can use it on a parallel bus in FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic Pro and blend the reverb to taste. The algorithm uses parallel comb filters with damping followed by series allpass diffusion, a Schroeder-style design that produces dense, smooth tails. The internal processing runs at 24 kHz with 12-bit quantization and TPDF dither, giving a band-limited, gritty digital character typical of early hardware. Stereo crosstalk adds subtle left/right bleed, early reflections simulate a real room, and high-frequency damping rolls off the top end depending on the mode. It is aimed at hobby producers looking for authentic vintage digital reverb for creative sound design or as a send effect in any DAW. Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
