Texture Loom is a free dual-sample atmosphere engine from S1gns Of L1fe, available as VST3 and AU for Windows and macOS, plus a Max for Live device for Ableton Live 12. It is an instrument, not an effect, so you load it on an instrument track and feed it your own audio. Two sample slots (A and B) can be blended with an equal-power control, reversed, pitched, panned, and rate-adjusted, while a multimode filter (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, peak, allpass) shapes the tone. Two motion LFOs with shapes like sine, triangle, random, drift, and glider modulate blend, filter, space, sample start, and speed for evolving movement. A stereo reverb section with size, decay, mix, and width adds space. An INIT button resets everything. It suits hobby producers making ambient pads, drones, cinematic beds, meditation music, and textural layers from field recordings, vocals, synths, or guitar. A blank instance is silent until you load samples, and projects restore sample paths on reopen.
