Singomakers Faturist is a saturation and distortion effect for producers who want to add weight, grit, and tonal character to their tracks. Use it to roughen up a synth line, give a bass part a more aggressive edge, or add extra impact to a kick. It suits hobby producers and electronic musicians looking for a dedicated sound-shaping tool rather than another instrument.
Three distortion types provide different starting points for processing. A four-band pre-distortion EQ lets you adjust the tonal balance before the signal reaches the distortion stage, giving you control over which frequencies drive the effect. High-pass and low-pass filters offer further shaping, and automating them can turn a static sound into an evolving texture or transition.
Built-in presets provide starting points for exploring the processing on different sources. This Windows version of Faturist comes in VST2 and VST3 formats and requires Windows 7 or later, making it suitable for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
