SSD Blackbird Expansion

The SSD Blackbird Expansion brings the legendary rooms of Blackbird Studio to your Steven Slate Drums virtual instrument, capturing a drum sound recorded by founder John McBride with drummer Chris Tyrell of Lady Antebellum. Using three classic rooms—including the chambers of rooms A and D—plus vintage mics and gear, this library delivers six kick samples, ten snares, seven sets of toms, and cymbals (two hi-hats, one ride, four crashes) for SSD users. The kits span five decades of drum history, offering everything from tight, punchy rock tones to open, ambient textures. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want realistic, mix-ready drums for rock, pop, country, or singer-songwriter tracks. Note that Steven Slate Drums is required to use this expansion.
