SSD CLA Expansion

The SSD CLA Expansion brings Chris Lord-Alge’s signature drum sound to your studio. Recorded at Ocean Studios in Burbank and mixed in his LA room using his classic processing chains, these drums are fat, punchy, and mix-ready straight out of the box. The expansion includes 12 drumkit presets with 12 snares, 11 kicks, 5 toms, 1 hi-hat, 4 crashes, and 1 ride, all captured with multiple articulations on snares for realistic performance. A printed layer of CLA’s famous Sony reverb on kicks and snares adds instant depth and character. Whether you’re producing rock, pop, or any genre that demands powerful drums, this expansion delivers the legendary CLA sound with complete control. It requires Steven Slate Drums (SSD) or Steven Slate TRIGGER to use. Easy to install and designed for hobby and professional producers alike, it’s a must-have for anyone seeking album-quality drums.
