The SSL 4K G recreates the legendary SL 4000 G console channel strip, the smoother, more polished successor to the aggressive E Series. Built by Solid State Logic’s original designers with component-level circuit modelling, it delivers the revered Pink ‘292’ and Black ‘242’ EQ flavours plus a tighter, refined dynamics section. The ‘292’ EQ’s variable Q design gives broad, musical curves for gentle tone shaping, while the ‘242’ offers constant Q for surgical work, and the HMF ×3 and LMF ÷3 switches push bands to the frequency extremes for expressive, custom curves.
