Synsonic BD-808

Synsonic BD-808 is an 808-style bass drum instrument built around signal processing informed by a detailed analysis of the original drum machine’s kick circuit. Shape each hit with Accent, Level, Decay and Tone controls, moving from short, click-forward kicks to longer bass drum tails. Semitone and cent tuning help fit the low end to your track, while LongDecay extends the available decay range. For melodic bass lines, MIDI note tracking lets you play BD-808 as a bass synthesizer, with velocity-linked accent adding variation between notes. MIDI Learn makes it easy to assign sound-shaping parameters to your controller. It suits beatmakers and electronic producers who want focused 808 kick design and playable bass sounds without a sprawling synth interface.
