ISOL8 is a free mix monitoring utility that splits your audio into five adjustable frequency bands. Each band can be soloed or muted on its own, so you can focus on specific parts of the spectrum while mixing or mastering. The plugin uses Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters with 24 or 48 dB/oct slopes, and offers multiple channel modes (stereo, left, right, mid, side) plus monitoring options like in-place or centered listening. You can also use ISOL8 as a flexible multi-band splitter: route each band through separate effect chains and then mix the results back together. It includes useful extras such as loudness dim, side-chain monitoring, left/right swap, and keyboard control. Designed primarily for the master track, it works equally well on individual busses. The large, scalable GUI and 64-bit internal processing make it a practical tool for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic on Windows or Mac. Version 2.9.0 adds a linear phase filter mode.
