Theia

Theia is a streamlined software synthesizer that distills the expansive sound engine of Tracktion’s Hyperion into a performance-focused instrument. It offers immediate access to nearly 600 meticulously curated presets, making it an ideal source of inspiration for producers across all genres. The minimalist interface prioritizes music creation, with pre-assigned macro controls for quick sonic adjustments and per-patch backgrounds that spark creativity. A waveform preview provides visual feedback as you browse the library, and a dice button generates random patches when you need a fresh idea. The browser lets you filter presets by instrument type, performance style, or emotion, and sort by author, type, or name; favorites can be saved with one click. A Sound Layers Editor reveals the complex layers behind each preset, allowing independent adjustment of MIDI channel, transpose, key zones, pitch bend range, voice allocation, and arpeggiation. Designed by Paul Carter (Wavesequencer), Theia suits hobbyist and professional producers seeking lush, evolving sounds with minimal fuss.
