Toontrack EDM EZkeys MIDI is a collection of melodic MIDI material for producers building house, techno, modern pop and other electronic tracks. Rather than providing a new synth or effect, it supplies editable musical parts for developing chord progressions, lead ideas and arpeggiated patterns within an EZkeys-based workflow.
The pack contains 20 song-based sets, each divided into Chords, Melody and Arpeggio sections. Within those sections, parts are organized for breakdowns, buildups or drops, making it easier to find material that fits a particular stage of your arrangement. Everything uses a straight 4/4 feel, with source tempos spanning 75 to 140 BPM.
You can drag parts into your DAW, combine layers from different ideas, change notes and assign separate sounds to the chord, melody and arpeggio lines. That makes the collection useful for hobby producers who want a starting point for an electronic track while retaining control over the composition and sound choices. Its focus is on keys-led hooks, rhythmic chord figures and repeating melodic movement.
