Toontrack Pop Punk EZX is a drum sound library for producers writing melodic punk, pop rock and guitar-driven songs. Recorded at producer, engineer and mixer John Feldmann’s personal studio in Los Angeles, the collection features three complete drum kits with a large, polished character suited to hook-focused arrangements.
The sound takes its cue from the commercially successful pop-punk records that brought bands such as Blink-182, Simple Plan and Green Day to a broad audience around the turn of the millennium. For home producers working in that style, it offers a focused set of drum sounds rather than a general-purpose collection spanning unrelated genres.
This listing covers the v1.0.1 library update, with Windows listed as the supported platform and a download size of 46.4 MB. It is an EZX soundbank update, not a standalone drum instrument or a separate VST effect. Check that you have the required Toontrack software and base library before installing; your DAW alone is not enough to use the sounds.
