UltraTap

Eventide UltraTap is a multi-tap delay plugin that turns simple repeats into shifting rhythms, diffuse reverbs and swelling textures. With up to 64 taps, it can add movement to synth pads, build glitchy drum fills or give vocals a spacious, chorus-like character. The Spread control reshapes the timing between taps, while Slurm blurs or modulates them for smeared echoes and unusual ambience. Onboard LFOs and envelopes let you chop audio into stuttering patterns, with stereo controls for narrow or widely panned repeats. For hands-on performance, The Ribbon smoothly blends between two control setups, and HotSwitch jumps straight to an alternate setting. More than 150 presets provide starting points for experimentation.
