Vacuum Vintage

Vacuum Vintage by AIR Music Technology is a monophonic synthesizer built around vacuum tube circuit modelling, bringing warmth, grit and vintage character to electronic productions. Its two oscillators let you morph between four wave shapes, then shape the result with mixer drive, ring modulation and high-pass and low-pass filters. Filter saturation adds bite, while dedicated Drift and Dust controls introduce pitch instability and crackle for a worn-in hardware feel. Use it for weighty basslines, cutting leads, retro arpeggios and unusual effects inspired by the analogue sounds of the 1970s and 1980s. Two envelopes and an onboard arpeggiator provide further ways to animate your patches. Presets from Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden offer useful starting points, making Vacuum Vintage a good fit for hobby producers who want immediate inspiration alongside hands-on subtractive sound design.
