AIR Music Technology Boom Crossgrade brings classic drum-machine sounds and hands-on pattern programming to your DAW. Designed for owners of Pro Tools, AIEP 3, AKAI VIP or MPC Software, this crossgrade provides a drum instrument for electronic, dance and urban productions. Its 10 kits span 808- and 909-inspired sounds, harder-edged percussion and a retro kit combining CR78 and 606 influences. Each kit has 10 drum voices with individual volume, pan, tuning and decay controls, plus a sound-specific adjustment for further shaping. Mix drums from different kits to build your own setup, then play individual hits through MIDI or create grooves with the onboard sequencer. More than 50 presets offer starting points, while pattern saving, copying and MIDI selection help turn ideas into arrangements.
