Viator DSP Bedroom Compressor is a free diode bridge-style compressor for producers who want to control dynamics on drums and other tracks. Threshold and ratio set when compression starts and how strongly it reduces the signal. A single Speed control combines attack and release behavior, with settings ranging from slow to automatic. Make-Up Gain adjusts the output level, while Blend mixes the processed signal with the dry audio for compression that retains some of the original dynamics.
The high-pass filter covers 20–350 Hz and can operate on either the audio input or the compressor’s detection signal. In side-chain mode, low frequencies remain audible but trigger less compression—useful for keeping a kick drum from dominating the response of a drum bus. An In switch enables or disables compression.
