Viator DSP Electron EQ is a free tube-inspired equalizer for producers who want to shape bass, smooth treble, and add controlled saturation. It suits hobbyists mixing tracks in FL Studio, Ableton Live, or other compatible hosts, with VST3 support on Windows and VST3/AU on macOS.

Separate low and high boost and attenuation controls let you balance weight and clarity rather than simply raise or lower a single band. Low boost covers 22–300 Hz, while high boost spans 1–16 kHz. A bandwidth control adjusts the filter width, and a variable low-pass filter helps tame the top end.

The Drive section blends in modeled tube saturation through parallel processing. Switchable 4x oversampling is available, alongside stereo, mid, side, left, and right processing modes for targeted adjustments. Try reducing bass in the sides or adding brightness to the stereo edges.

Output trim makes level adjustments straightforward, and EQ bypass preserves your settings for comparison. Unused filters and the drive circuit stop processing at zero gain to reduce CPU use. The interface also recalls its saved window size with your DAW project.
