Viator DSP LV 50A is a free EQ plugin for producers who want hardware-inspired tone shaping on individual tracks or the master bus. It blends curves influenced by two classic studio equalizers with its own tonal character, making it useful for home-studio mixing and mastering.
Four bands provide up to 12 dB of boost or cut, with proportional Q that changes the bandwidth as you adjust gain. The low and high bands switch between shelf and bell shapes, while separate high-pass and low-pass filters help remove unwanted frequency extremes. Optional 8x oversampling offers another way to refine high-frequency processing.
An output saturation stage adds coloration as the EQ feeds into it. Unused bands automatically bypass their filter circuits at 0 dB, and setting drive to 0 dB disables saturation processing to reduce CPU use. Output trim, polarity inversion for parallel workflows, and a band-gain reset button round out the controls.
LV 50A supports VST3 on Windows 10 and VST3/AU on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, covering compatible setups in FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro.
